I love how summer always makes me want to add more color to my calm and comfortable neutral pallete. This year I’m kind of crushing on all things blue, and thanks to this little terra cotta gem, my baby maple can grow up in style.

Here is a bit of refashion fun. I took some old comfy slacks that were rather loose, and covered one side with a lace-esque stretchy material and made a cute pair of summer shorts.
I’m always looking for new ways to pretty up the bathroom. This is a plate rack with one plate from the set holding all the basic countertop essentials. I have to admit I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with this little display.

On hot summer nights I love to have a cold sweet treat. This frozen refreshment is great because it has only 3 ingredients, and can be enjoyed as a smoothie before you freeze it, as a healthy popcicle, or with a spoon. It’s as simple as slicing up a few mangos and adding some pre frozen bananas and a bit of orange juice. Blend and enjoy as desired!
